SAINT-ARNOULT Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville> September 10 to 13


From September 10 to 13, the Pôle international du Cheval Longines - Deauville will host the French Major Championship, reserved for amateur show jumping riders aged 40 and over. Organized for the first time in Deauville, this French Major Championship is contested by category: Amateur Elite, Amateur 1, Amateur 2, Amateur 3, Amateur 4, and in three separate rounds.

In total, 381 contenders for the national title from 13 French regions (Auvergne – Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Brittany, Center-Val de Loire, Grand Est, Hauts-de-France, Ile de France, Martinique, Normandy , Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Pays de la Loire, Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur) will compete in the two outer quarries of the Pole, on courses designed by the course manager Marc Cheminat.
Eighteen show jumping events make up the sports program of this French Major championship, including the long-awaited finals at the end of which will be crowned the 2020 French champions.

The Major 4, Major 2 and Major 3 riders will compete in their final round on Saturday September 12, respectively at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and then at 13:00 p.m. Sunday September 13 will be the day of the finals for Major 1 (9:30 am) and Major Elite (14:30 pm).

Renowned for taking place in a festive and friendly atmosphere, this French Major Championship should not fail in tradition in Deauville with its “regional buffet” on Thursday evening around 19:00 pm, not to mention its traditional Gala evening organized on Friday 11 September.
