Born in 1981, Pierre Clement lives and works in Paris and Bordeaux. After graduating from the ESA des Pyrenees, he has been awarded numerous prizes and grants, including, in 2013 and 2016, the Aide individuelle à la création de la DRAC Région Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées. In 2014, he was selected for the 59th Salon de Montrouge and the following year, he won the Mezzanine Sud prize (Les Abattoirs, FRAC Midi-Pyrénées). In 2017, as part of his residency at the Lieu Commun art space (Toulouse), he is a finalist for the Grand Prix Occitanie d'Art Contemporain and he is selected, the same year, for the 67th edition of Jeune Création (exhibition in July 2017 at the Galerie Thaddeus Ropac, Pantin). In 2019 he is the winner of the production aid and Prix Coup de Coeur, Mécènes du Sud, Montpellier-Sète. The same year he obtained individual aid for creation from the Ministry of Culture, DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
