Pierre Clement


Guest of the 2021 L'Appel du Large festival

Born in 1981, Pierre Clement lives and works in Paris and Bordeaux. After graduating from ESA des Pyrénées, he was awarded numerous prizes and scholarships, including, in 2013 and 2016, the Individual Aid for the creation of the DRAC Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées region. In 2014, he was selected at the 59th Salon de Montrouge and the following year, he won the Mezzanine Sud prize (Les Abattoirs, FRAC Midi-Pyrénées). In 2017, as part of his residency at the Lieu Commun art space (Toulouse), he was finalist for the Grand Prix Occitanie d'Art Contemporain and he was selected, the same year, for the 67th edition of Jeune Création ( exhibition in July 2017 at Galerie Thaddeus Ropac, Pantin). In 2019 he won the production aid and Coup de Cœur Prize, Mécènes du Sud, Montpellier-Sète. The same year he obtained individual creation aid from the Ministry of Culture, DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
