CASINO BARRIERE DE DEAUVILLE
When the sun goes down, Deauville lights up and life goes on... The casino guarantees thrills in its exhilarating game rooms or around the slot machines.

Built in 1912, the sumptuous setting of the Casino Barrière Deauville is worth the detour alone, with its imposing and elegant facade, its large terrace under the central porch with its view of the sea, the monumental double-flight staircase in the entrance, and the interior spaces punctuated by Corinthian pilasters, decorated with painted frescoes and adorned with glittering chandeliers
The first small casino opened when Deauville was founded in 1864, about fifty meters from the present casino. The fall of the Second Empire and the temporary desertion of Deauville finally led to its demolition in 1895. The idea of a new casino was revived at the beginning of the 20th century by Eugène Cornuché, creator of the Parisian restaurant "Chez Maxim's", and Mayor Désiré Le Hoc. The plans were entrusted to the architect George Wybo, who was inspired by the Grand Trianon of the Château de Versailles.
If the gaming frenzy doesn't tempt you, you can catch a show in its small Italian-style theater, dine in one of the three restaurants, have a drink at the O2, or be entertained at Club 13 Karaoke.
