Deauville & Cannes have many common points including that of being at the forefront of French tourist destinations. For several months, they have been working together to improve the visibility of their respective golf courses.

Cannes-Mandelieu Old Course

Founded in 1891 in Mandelieu by the Grand Duke Michel of Russia, the Old Course is the oldest golf course on the Côte d'Azur. Near the sea, on flat fairways shaded by umbrella pines, the feeling of living a privileged moment is renewed at each stage of the 18-hole "Old course" and 9-hole "Grand Duke" course.
Golfers particularly appreciate crossing the Siagne river aboard a ferry to get from one part of the course to the other. And a magnificent “Norman” style clubhouse awaits them for lunch.

Royal Mougins Golf Resort

This private route is located about ten minutes from Cannes. From 1995 to 1998, it hosted the Cannes Open, stage of the European Professional Tour. Frenchman Thomas Levet has put his name on the list. In a natural landscape, with no less than eight lakes connected by streams and waterfalls, its 18 hole is varied and technical. The Hotel du Royal Mougins, on the golf course, is a haven of refined rest giving access to the golf driving range and the sumptuous Royal Spa.

Cannes-Mougins Golf Country Club

This prestigious golf course, with an 18-hole course and driving range, is nestled in the heart of the Valmasque forest in Mougins. Wooded and protected, it is crossed by a river and numerous water obstacles. For fourteen years, the club hosted the professional Cannes Open. Greg Norman, Severiano Ballesteros or Ian Woosnam triumphed on its greens. In 2010 and 2011, he hosted the European Senior Tour, the Cannes Mougins Masters, where other golf legends perpetuate his reputation for excellence.

Created in Opio in 1966 in the heart of a splendid natural domain of 220 ha, this golf course is steeped in history. A Gallo-Roman aqueduct is even there to prove it!
