BY BIKE ON THE GREEN TRACK BETWEEN SAINT-ARNOULT AND DEAUVILLE

The centers of Saint-Arnoult (access near the tennis courts) and Deauville (access from the Boulevard Mauger) are connected by a greenway of just over three kilometers, accessible to pedestrians, rollerbladers, cyclists and riders. The ride follows the long straight track of the Deauville-La Touques racecourse, crosses the intercommunal leisure park, imprints the banks of the Boucles de la Touques and passes behind the Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville. The landscaped route is easy and peaceful, winding through green and wooded areas, among cows, ducks and swans!

The Saint-Arnoult / Deauville greenway: part of a vast cycling plan

This greenway was opened on the initiative of the Departmental Council of Calvados as part of its Cycling Plan, which currently offers 400 km of cycle routes and will eventually have 700 km of greenways, cycle paths or shared routes in the department, at the crossroads of several major national and European routes. She is also finalizing the project Seine à Vélo®, which connects Paris to the sea, to Le Havre and Deauville, following the meanders of the Seine. Cyclists can then travel to their starting destination by train. Finally, it is part of the European route EuroVelo 4 which will link Roscoff (Brittany) to Kiev (Ukraine) within a few years via the Normandy coast from Mont-Saint-Michel to Le Tréport.
