Alice Brière-Haquet

Guest of the 2018 Books & Music Festival

Alice Brière-Haquet worked as a cherry picker and high school teacher, before starting to write books.  Cherries have grown, students have become older, and she has published over 70 books so far. Some for children, such as Zébulon published by MeMo, and some for teenagers such as Nina published by Gallimard. Many of her books have been translated and are currently read all over the world. One of them was awarded with the New York Times Award in 2015. She has also been travelling with her cello and her family, before coming back to Normandy and settling down.
