Alice Brière-Haquet

Invited to the 2018 Books & Music Festival

Alice Briere-Haquet was a cherry picker and a high school teacher, before starting to write books. The cherries have grown, the students have grown, and more than seventy titles are now walking around the houses. Some for toddlers, such as Zebulon published by MeMo, or for slightly older children like Nina published by Gallimard. His books also travel the world through numerous translations, and one of them received a New York Times Award in 2015. She herself went for a walk with her cello and her family before returning to settle in her native Normandy.
