Alice Brière-Haquet

Invited to the 2018 Books & Music Festival

Alice Briere-Haquet was a cherry picker and a high school teacher before she started writing books. The cherries have sprouted, the students have grown, and more than seventy titles are now roaming the houses. Some for toddlers, such as Zebulon published at MeMo, or for the little-older ones like Nina published by Gallimard. His books also tour the world with numerous translations, and one of them received a 2015 New York Times Award. She herself took a walk with her cello and her family before returning to settle in her native Normandy.
