Calvados Christian Drouin

This family-run, artisanal distillery is entirely dedicated to apples and calvados, in a complex of 17th-century half-timbered buildings. The passion, craftsmanship and love of the products orchestrated by the Drouin family for 3 generations have been rewarded with numerous medals, including 286 gold medals and honorary awards.

Guided tour of the estate: discover the history of calvados and the secrets of cider, pommeau and calvados production. In the press, learn about orchards, apple harvesting and the art of brewing, followed by distillation in iron stills. The tour continues with ageing techniques (discovery of the cellars from which precious aromas escape, "la part des anges", evaporation of perfumes through the barrels and foudres in which our calvados are aged) and ends with a tasting of our products: cider, perry, pommeau, blanche de Normandie and calvados.
For groups, a choice of classic or terroir tours.

Extend your visit to the estate with lunch under the apple trees? A basket of regional products (apple juice or cider, baguette and cheese, Norman terrine, Teurgoule the famous Norman rice pudding, madeleine) is available. With family or friends, by the water near the estate's washhouse, sheltered in the bread oven or under the apple trees to soak up the sun, everyone can enjoy the farm's facilities even more.

The Calvados Christian Drouin boutique is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm.
