Calvados Christian Drouin

This family and artisanal distillery is entirely dedicated to apples and calvados, in a set of half-timbered buildings from the 17th century. The passion, the taste for craftsmanship and the love for the products orchestrated by the Drouin family for 3 generations have been rewarded by numerous medals, including 272 gold medals.

Guided tour of the estate: discovery of the history of calvados and the secrets of the manufacture of cider, pommeau and calvados. In the press, evocation of the orchards, the harvesting of the apples and the art of brewing, then the distillation with the stills. The visit continues with the ageing techniques (discovery of the cellars from which precious aromas escape, "the angels' share", evaporation of the perfumes through the barrels and tuns in which our calvados are aged) and ends with the tasting of our products: cider, perry, pommeau, blanche de Normandie and calvados.
For groups, several options are available: classic visit or "terroir" visit.

Extend the visit of the domain by a lunch under the apple trees ? A basket of regional products (apple juice or cider, baguette and cheese, Norman terrine, Teurgoule, the famous Norman rice pudding, madeleine) is available. With family or friends, at the water's edge near the domain's wash house, sheltered in the bread oven or under the apple trees to enjoy the sun, everyone can enjoy the farm's facilities even more.

The Calvados Christian Drouin store is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
