Born in Paris in 1964, Carole Bellaïche started taking photographs at the age of 13. Her first series was noticed by Dominique Issermann in 1978. This one spurs her on, introducing her to actors to realize their book. Carole Bellaïche, photographer, starts to work. She is 17 years old.
A portrait photographer with a passion for cinema, actors, actresses and other directors are her favorite models. Beyond the commissions, her personal projects speak of travel, explore the places that inspire her, direct the staging of objects or characters, probe the intimacy.
Widely published in magazines, she was a photographer for Cahiers du Cinéma for fifteen years. Her photographs are also regularly exhibited at the Mois de la Photo in Paris and in galleries.

Carole Bellaïche chose the Deauville market as her subject, combining black and white, color, film and digital, portrait and still life. She started with portraits of producers on the market place, then wanted to extend these moments stolen from the customers where they live and grow.
