Laurent BEGUE

Guest at the Books & Music Festival 2016

Born in Blois in 1966, after having studied at the Paris IX-Dauphine University, Laurent Bègue has spent his entire career in publishing as financial director and then as editor, in the general literature and school sector. He is now associate editor at Belize editions where he develops collections for children. He wants the works he publishes to convey meaning and transmit knowledge (in particular through the “Threads of life”, “Budding globe-trotters”, “Once upon a time…”, “The little guardians” collections of nature ").

He is the author of "King Midas and his donkey's ears", "Hercules and his 12 labors", "Pegasus and Bellerophon against the chimera", "Joan of Arc and the king without a crown" "Theseus and Ariadne against the Minotaur ”,“ Ulysses facing the trials of the return ”and quite recently“ Orpheus and the force of song ”(collection. Once upon a time) and“ The Flower and the Seasons ”, a work that has received many“ hits ” of hearts ”on children's book blogs.
