On the seaside

At the beach of Villers-sur-Mer

The beach of Villers-sur-Mer is at the centre of the world… It’s the first French city to be crossed by the Greenwich Meridian! The seaside resort reminds the Belle Epoque with picturesque villas going along the beach. Particularity of the beach: the Vaches Noires cliffs, 4.5 km long and 100 m high, dating back to the Jurassic and Cretaceous eras.
If you are not fond of history, the beach also hosts several summer events, including the famous Festival Sable Show and sports tournaments are organized all summer long!
