At the beach of Blonville-sur-Mer

The beach of Blonville-sur-Mer is big! It stretches over 2 km and includes four different areas. Right after Bénerville, it stretches right under the cliffs. The beach Laforge, situated in the city centre, is bordered by small planks leading to a children’s club and a sailing club. It’s here where you can rent a beach umbrella and deckchairs. The beach of Goblins is the departure point to the west towards the marshes and the natural walks. The west beach, relatively narrow, goes along Villers-sur-Mer, where another history begins. Throughout summer, activities take place on the sand, including castle contests or photographic challenges…

The marshes of Blonville-sur-Mer

The marsh of Blonville-Villers, protected natural area situated next to the beach, has rare and diversified fauna and flora.
You can observe protected species such as the European tree frog, the moor frog or even storks.
Trips and bird-watching walks are regularly organized. Dates and times are available on the agenda of our website.

The Blonville Yacht Club

Open in summer, the sailing school of Blonvillesur-Mer proposes sailing lessons in July and August to anybody older than 8. This club also offers a subscription formula allowing its members to sail all year round with their equipment (dinghy, catamarans, windsurfing, paddle, kite surf…).
It's the perfect place to take catamaran lessons on Topaz 14 or 16.


The Club Mickey de Blonville is the appointment for children older than 3! In this area found on the beach for over 70 years, children love playing on inflatable structures, children’s slides, trampolines and swings. The club also proposes sports and fun activities by group of age and swimming courses.

In July and in August: natural walks are regularly proposed on July 13. Paléospace.
July 13th: Blonville celebrates from 7 pm. The celebration ends with fireworks. Place du Marché (close to the beach) and Avenue de la Brigade Piron.
End of September: the 21km Mer, Monts et Marais. The first edition of a natural race starting from Blonville-sur-Mer. Two options: 5 or 21 km.

Renting a beach cabin

The beach umbrellas are blue and white striped and are situated in front of spotless beach cabins. In total, they are 180. It’s a great atmosphere!
Several renting formulas are available.
Indicative price : € 60 per week.
Beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sunbathing chairs can be rented from June 15th to September 15th.

Practical information

The beach is accessible from the following roads: Rue de Hoinville, Rue Louise, Rue Laforge, Boulevard Marcelle Lechanteur, Rue Pierre Jacquot, Rue Chevalier, Avenue Michel d’Ornano (in front of the beach camping and the marshes). You’ll find parking places in the roads reaching the beach and the perpendicular roads. These are places where you can park for free.
You can find a car park in the blue parking area between Rue Jean Duchemin and Avenue Michel d’Ornano next to the Centrale chemistry and the Market square.

The access to animals is forbidden from April 1st to September 30th from 10 am to 7 pm.
Outside this schedule, they should be kept at a distance of 100 m from the Boardwalk and the villas. They should be taken on a leash.

The beaches of Blonville-sur-Mer are supervised from July 1st to August 31st every day from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.
