Born in 1984, Ciro Battiloro is an Italian photographer based in Naples. After studying philosophy, he specializes in documentary photography. His work is centered on the human being, which he approaches in his everyday life. He also deals with more general social themes; for example, some marginalized people in Southern Italy.

Ciro Battiloro entered into the daily life and intimacy of the fishermen of trouvillais. Embarked on different fishing boats, including Le Petit Souffle, he followed, day and night, the different maneuvers of these workers of the sea: from the preparation of the boats, to the fishing time, to the return to the port. An ode to this community essential to the city
