The process of Yvan Alvarez's work consisted in going to meet the shopkeepers and employees of all types of establishments during my daily wanderings. At each meeting, I asked them what was their favorite place. In a second time, I went on these places to photograph them. Each photograph has an extract of the conversation in the form of captions. The result is photographic prints nailed on pieces of wood to obtain singular objects that reflect the relational aspect of this work.
