The André Hamburg Museum of the Fransciscaines, dedicated to the "traveling painter", presents the collections transmitted by his wife Nicole Hamburg to the City of Deauville. Painter of the navy, this prolific artist is the witness of the History of the 11th century. In this retrospective exhibition dedicated to him, we discover the life of this artist who adopted Normandy and more particularly Deauville as a place of inspiration, and travels with him around the world. At the rate of an annual rotation of the collections, the visitor discovers the multiple inspirations, artistic periods, countries and themes approached by André Hamburg. A guided tour of his exhibited works is offered every Friday and Saturday at XNUMX a.m.
