Deauville's municipal tennis club is just a stone's throw from Les Planches and the sea. No fewer than 17 tennis courts, maintained year-round by municipal staff trained on the Roland Garros courts, await exchanges and smashes.
Frédéric Torres and his team are in charge of teaching. For over 30 years, he has devoted his life to tennis and teaching. Communicating his passion to young children through a method that combines technical and tactical work, and playing for pleasure in order to progress, is at the heart of his project.
The club offers a range of courses for youngsters under 17 during the school vacations (zone C):
- the classic course: 1h30 per day (9h45-11h15, 11h30-13h or 14h15-15h45) from Monday to Friday in groups of 6 maximum.
- Intensive course: 3h per day (11.30am-3.45pm with lunch break), Monday to Friday, in groups of 6 maximum. A typical day: 1h30 of technical work between 11h30 and 13h, lunch at the Café Court restaurant from 13h to 14h, then 1h30 of tactical work and matches from 14h15 to 15h45.
