TRAINING

The Basic Patent or "BB"

Conditions: to be over 15 years old on the day of the examination, to have passed the medical examination with an approved doctor, to have undergone ground training, to justify a minimum of 6 hours of flight in double order, to justify a minimum of 4 hours of flight alone on board and 20 landings, to be received at the theoretical tests, to be received at the practical flight examination.
This "BB" allows you to fly alone on board within a radius of 30 km around the aerodrome and beyond with prior authorizations. Subsequently, your instructor will be able to issue you with extension authorizations: passenger carriage, landing on neighboring aerodromes, distance extensions.

The Private Pilot Certificate or "PPL"

Conditions: be at least 17 years old on the day of the examination, have passed the medical examination with an approved doctor, justify a minimum of 45 hours of flight, of which 25 hours in double order at least and 10 hours alone on board supervised (including 5 hours in the countryside and at least one flight alone aboard 150 NM with 2 complete intermediate landings). The training includes an introduction to blind flight (making a 180 ° turn in safety).
This "PPL" will allow you to fly everywhere in France, and even abroad if you master English.


AIR BAPTEMES

Flights of 20 or 30 minutes for 1 to 3 people by plane with an experienced pilot from the Deauville Flying Club.
The baptism can be postponed due to bad weather or last minute problem.
