VILLERS-SUR-MER Le Villare> 23 August 2020

Created in 2015, the show invites each year around forty authors and personalities to Villers-sur-Mer to meet and discuss with their readers.
The theme of the show, sponsored by Claude Lelouch, this year will be “There are days… and moons”, the title of a film.
Like every year, a short story competition is organized to invite everyone to participate in this literary event.

The paper book remains mostly preferred by lovers of literature, who attribute a sentimental value to it through its touch, its smell, its presence in a library ... Novel, thriller, comic strip, children's books ... out of curiosity or knowledge, they are hundreds to push the doors of Villare, the associative and cultural space of Villers-sur-Mer, and to leave with a book under the arm, dedicated by their favorite author or by the one with whom they will have been able to share a moment of literature.

Forty authors will be present on August 23. They will be at signings all day.

New in 2020: Thierry Beccaro's reading corner invites the public to listen to excerpts from texts.

10am - Extract from "Behind the White Blouse" by Stéphanie Fugain.
11h - Extract from "Lines of life" by Denis Brillet.
15:30 pm - Favorite "The whale with green eyes" new from Christian Bobin.

Another event not to be missed: the delivery of 6th Villare Prize in the short story competition, at 14:30 p.m. Come many!
