4th INTERNATIONAL MARATHON IN DEAUVILLE
The International Marathon in Deauville is one of the top 10 marathons in France. It brought together nearly 9,000 runners in 2022!
The course leads the runners through the paths and roads of the Pays d'Auge and along some of the unmissable sites of the inDeauville area: the Deauville casino, the Deauville-La Touques and Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourses, the surrounding stud farms... the kilometers covered, the runners' efforts will be rewarded by a final straight line along the beach and then on the Deauville boards.
6 event formats
- The Time Trial Marathon, solo or in relays of 2 or 4, FFA certified event - 42.195 km (relay distances of 4: 16 km, 7 km, 14 km, 5 km)
- The Half Marathon Time Trial, FFA approved event - 21,0975 km
- The 10 km time trial
- The 5 km time trial
- The Deauvillaise (5 km untimed) for walkers or runners
- The Deauvi'Kids (7 to 12 years old) - 900 m
Race start times
Saturday November 18th
- 1:30 pm: The DeauviKids
- 2:00 pm: La Deauvillaise and the 5 km time trial (first arrivals around 2:45 pm)
- 3:30 pm: 10 km (first arrivals around 4:30 pm)
Sunday November 19th
- 8:15 am: Half-Marathon (first arrivals around 9:15 am)
- 9:45 am: Marathon solo, 2 and 4 person relay (first arrivals around 11:45 am)
New in 2023: the International Marathon in Deauville will be included in the "World Marathon Majors" world ranking. From January 1 to December 31, 2023, participants aged 40 and over will earn points for their participation in AbbottWMM Wanda partner marathons around the world (only the two best rankings will be counted). At the end, the top-ranked runners in each of the nine age categories are invited to the 2024 AbbottWMM Wanda World Championships.
