July 12 - Country-Folk
Transatlantic heirs of the Carter Family and the Kossoy Sisters, The Sugar Family wears with pride and freshness the nice colours of the traditional American folk songs. Drawing on the gospel roots to walk along the Ohio River with old-time captivating or exhilarating ballads; the music played by these five singers and musicians takes us to an early thirties America, at the crossroads of pure folk and rough bluegrass, not very far away from blues.

July 16 (1st part) - Fingerstyle
Illona is a young finger-style guitarist and composer. She uses her guitar as a multi-instrument: percussions, bass, choreography object. Her talent emerges rapidly: she is the special guest of guitarist Coréen Sungha Jung at the Café de la Danse, has opened the concert by Biréli Lagrène at the Trianon of Paris, has participated to "Guitar Night" in Paris, at "Musikmesse" of Frankfurt and at the "Solidays” Festival, and has played in Italy, Austria, Germany and South Korea. In 2013, Ilona recorded "The Guitar Power", her first album, real acoustic adjustment of songs belonging to different periods like "Smooth Criminal" by Michael Jackson, "Just the two of us" by Bill Withers or "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk. "Puzzle", her new opus, includes about ten original voice pieces.

July 16 - French chanson / Tropical dance
After the successful first show on “chanson réaliste”, with over 500 concerts, the Balbazar trio has started another creation process to conceive the second chapter of the Caribbean dance. The “Electropical dance” explores the spirit of the ‘20s and ‘30s with a concert-dance. The trio invites us to discover its original new world made of voice, accordion and beatbox, already acclaimed by thousands of spectators.

July 19 - Tribute Pop-Rock
From the first album to the latest opus, With U2 Night makes us experience the sound and emotion of an unforgettable Irish group: U2 ("New Year's Day", "Sunday bloody Sunday", "With or without you", "One", "Vertigo", "Ordinary love"...). It’s more than a tribute. A real music celebration is shared with the public by these four musicians.

July 23rd - Soul / Funk
Every 1.000 years, a small group of people gather under the name of Cut The Alligator. One mission: free captivated energies, let a music made of groove and emotions run wild. Cut The Alligator has published its first album. Nine musicians, sensual and powerful voices, unleashed brass instruments and a wild rhythmic session mix to create a unique soul and funk universe. Let’s fight against the alligator inside ourselves.

July 26 - Electro swing
The group seeks a balance between: melodies extracted from the swing of the ‘30s, mixed with the current electro-swing influences; beats reproducing more danceable rhythms than in the previous century; compositions organized around the voice; the energy of a quartet that thrills the dance floor. They published their first album ("Plaisir Moderne”) in 2018, followed by a tour in which they showed a true musical maturity. Mixing samples and vintage sounds in a more contemporary hip-hop and house format, the group seeks a balance between instrumental music and electronic production.

July 30 - Rock
After about one thousand concerts all over Europe, the English Tankus the Henge is slowly becoming a legend with dynamic stage performances. These six hard workers have created a unique style: the Gonzo Rock n’Roll, an eclectic universe, a combination of rock, Rag Time, New Orleans, Funk, accompanied by finely crafted texts. Their universe draws inspiration from the English music movements of the ‘60s and from artists like Tom Waits or the Queen of the Stone Age. The group has become a real juggernaut on the stage: their accurate music is based on the groove of an impressive bass-drum duo, a super-powerful brass, effective riffs and the gravelly voice of the singer.

August 2 - Ska
In the last two years, the Tekpaf group has been travelling to spread its resonant ska rock influences. After performing on several halls and participating to festivals in France and Switzerland, the group is back with the album "On s’arrête pas !". Tekpaf, as committed as other groups like Dub Inc, Babylon Circus, Les Ogres de Barback, BB Brunes, Boulevard des Airs, Collectif 13, As de Trèfle, Les Sales Majestés... is back to share its energy during a “homemade” concert. As they say, “On stage, we give our best shot”

August 6 - French Chanson
On board their uncommon machine, equipped with an extravagant sound and light system, the crew of the Balluche Sound System, under full command of Sacha de Kracov, let us experience a great rhythmic ritual. Like in a Jules Verne’s novel, this modern choral society reveals a crazy mix of dub, tango, swing, dance floor, electro and rock music for an unforgettable sonic experience. Dance lovers, well-dressed teufeurs, dancers of Saturday night, be ready to move. Tonight, anything is permitted!

August 9 - Soul
Gemma & the Travellers has the spirit of the "Motown" and "Stax", the rough-edged and groove sound of the label origins. Gemma has a strong and crystalline voice that perfectly fits this music style. This English duo writes and composes all their songs, played with bass, drum, sax and guitar. On stage, the group is a groove machine. Their first album "Too Many Rules & Games” was published in 2017 and was followed in 2019 by "True Love", showing a clear evolution to the groove sound.

August 13 - French chanson
TomBés du Camion is about French chanson, words and music diversity. The muffled sound of acoustic instruments (trombone, acoustic guitar, violin) is associated to the rock pace of rhythmic instruments (electric guitar, bass and drum) for an explosive sound mix. They make us travel through Swing /Jazz, Reggae, Rock N’Roule music to discover the subjects they want to share with us. Something is for sure: it’s an organic story chanson, without adding preservatives or pesticides.

August 16 - Soul / Funk
Explore the sunny soul/funk universe of the Solar Project: a clever mix of sounds, rhythms and brass instruments. The group, led by the compositions and the soul voice of the singer, was founded in 2016 and drew inspiration from the protagonists of soul and funk music like Esther Philips, Aretha Franklin, Maceo Parker, Souljazz Orchestra… After 3 years of concerts and several studio experiences, the Solar Project now has a singular identity. The six musicians forming the group share their joy on the stage during a sound and visual journey. What’s their secret? Playful sounds and the promise of a dynamic and generous show!

August 20 - French chanson
Ladies and gentlemen, please come closer! Discover our extraordinary collection of real treasures that belonged to the greatest artists of the French chanson. Our collection includes the legendary straw boater of Charles Trenet, the flowers hold by Jacques Brel waiting for Madeleine, the real bicycle by Yves Montand, the bedside lamp of the Mamma by Charles Aznavour and even the only painting made by Barbara... a Göttingen landscape. And, for just a smile on exchange, enjoy priceless songs and anecdotes!

August 23 - Reggae / Latino
Ranging from reggae to salsa, this cover band plays good music. Based on the south-west, the Jesse Cool group has been participating to several festivals in the latest years. Lya-Dia has played for artists like Steve Wonder and Percy Sledge. Considered as the African Bobby Mcferrin, this extraordinary singer, guitarist and percussionist is great in improvisation and melodic art. Jesse Cool is the singer of the legendary Sun Djata Sound (Raggasonic) and the Yorou group. He has participated to the Francofolies, the MCM Café, the Printemps de Bourges and many other festivals; he was also invited to the opening shows by Dennis Brown, Culture, Ijahman... Dennis Brown, Culture, Ijahman... Jivali, backing vocalist and instrumentalist, has been in charge of groove and sequences since the creation of Covers Time.
