SCALLOP FESTIVAL
For a weekend, Villers-sur-Mer gets into the swing of things to celebrate an exceptional product in all its forms: iodized, salted or sweet.

A major event in the Villers calendar, the Fête de la Coquille attracts over 25,000 people every year. 
 
In the heart of the city center, the famous scallops, the real stars of the event, rub shoulders with a variety of seafood, gastronomic delights and local specialties. This festive weekend, marked by an authentic and convivial atmosphere, promises a rich experience where the quality of the products and the talent of their artisans are in the spotlight. 
 
Once again this year, the Fête de la Coquille will host the Salon du Vin et de la Gastronomie. Starting on Friday afternoon, this gourmet event will offer visitors a veritable tour d'horizon of local treasures. Around a hundred exhibitors will be showcasing their best local produce, as well as a variety of wines from all over France. Cooking classes, recipe demonstrations and culinary competitions will spice up this tasty journey.
 
The festival is all about gastronomy, but it's also all about music, with numerous concerts and musical promenades taking place every day, putting the whole town in tune.
 
With concerts, tastings, culinary events and artistic performances, the atmosphere in the streets is sure to be electric, making the Fête de la Coquille a must-attend inDeauville.
