Deauville - Salle Elie de Brignac - April 14> 30, 2019

The Easter festival allows each spring a hundred young instrumentalists to meet with friends to approach within the most diverse ensembles the whole repertoire of chamber music, from trio to orchestra and baroque music to large pages of modern music.

By its programming and by its performers, the 22nd Easter Festival will be in every respect worthy of its previous editions. First sponsor of the festival in 1997 with Maria João Pires and Emmanuel Krivine, Augustin Dumay has always remained loyal and attentive to the project imagined by his four young colleagues at the time - Renaud Capuçon, Jérôme Pernoo, Nicholas Angelich and Jérôme Ducros - "sort of green academy where the masters were very young ”.

Three generations of Deauvillaises led by Augustin Dumay, Bertrand Chamayou, François Salque, Lise Berthaud, David Kadouch, Edgar Moreau, Yann Dubost, Amaury Coeytaux, Pierre Dumoussaud, Adam Laloum, Mi-Sa Yang, Pierre Fouchenneret, Adrien Boisseau, Yan Levionnois, Ismaël Margain, Guillaume Bellom, Victor Julien-Laferrière and Adrien La Marca have imagined programs for this festival that are both rich and captivating and in all respects in accordance with the demanding charter of its first animators.

Fourth generation Deauvillaise, Adèle Charvet, Philippe Hattat, Justin Taylor, Théo Fouchenneret, David Petrlik, Volodia van Keulen, Mathis Rochat, Manuel Vioque-Judde, Liya Petrova, Elina Bukhsa, Adélaïde Ferrière, the Arod, Hanson, Hermès quartets and together Ouranos will bring to this 22nd festival the momentum and the freshness of their bright personality.
