From April 15th to 30th - Salle Elie de Brignac

21th Edition

The 21st edition of the Easter Festival will be in all its aspects worthy of its extraordinary 21st edition, counting on major events and performers. Its main founders – Renaud Capuçon, Jérôme Pernoo, Jérôme Ducros and Nicholas Angelich – will be there, together with the three generations of musicians and ensembles that have succeeded them.

All chamber music groups, from trios to serenades, from wind ensembles to chamber orchestras, share a wide range of masterpieces and rare works dating from the baroque era to the 20th century. In addition to contemporary works of Cerha and Berg, two concerts will be respectively dedicated to György Ligeti and the new American generation by two young quartets from the University of Lexington, twinned with Deauville.

About one hundred young instrumentalists, coming from throughout Europe, will do their best in 9 very rich programs, before meeting again in summer in Deauville for a 16th Musical August, studious and joyful antechamber of the Easter Festival.

Ticket office opening: Monday, February 6th, 2017
