From April 15 to 30 - Salle Elie de Brignac

21st Edition

By its programming and by its performers, the 21st Easter Festival will be in every respect worthy of its exceptional twentieth edition. Its main founders - Renaud Capuçon, Jérôme Pernoo, Jérôme Ducros and Nicholas Angelich - will, like every year, be there like the three generations of musicians and ensembles that have succeeded them.

All chamber music groups, from the trio to the serenade, wind ensembles to the chamber orchestra share a vast exploration of masterpieces as well as rare works in the history of music. Baroque period to that of the 20th century. In addition to the contemporary works of Cerha and Berg, two concerts will be devoted, one to György Ligeti and the other to the new American generation by two young quartets from the University of Lexington, a town twinned with Deauville.

It is therefore a hundred young instrumentalists from all over Europe who will give the best of themselves during nine very dense programs while waiting to meet in summer in Deauville for a musical 16th August, studious and joyful antechamber of the festival Easter.

Opening of the ticket office: Monday February 6, 2017
