Deauville - from April 13 to 15, 2018

BOOKS & MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Deauville Books & Music Festival is fifteen years of creative encounters, where words and notes intertwine to reveal their common and mutual inspirations. For the anniversary of May 1968, the Festival questions how literature and music have accompanied the great rebellion movements. The program will put the spotlight on literature and music of dissent.

Every year in Spring, the Book & Music Festival pays tribute to writers inspired by music. Tens of authors and musicians are invited to the Festival to deal with a different subject every year.

15 YEAR-OLD, THE AGE WHEN EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
In 2018, the Books & Music Festival celebrates its fifteenth anniversary! Being 15 means adolescence, the age of everything-is-possible, dreams, metamorphosis. It is the time of dissent, the time of protest. And artists, writers, musicians play an important role in the art of revolt. It is to this aesthetic and subjective fresco that the festival will echo, by putting the spotlight on literature and music of dissent. A clear reference to the 50th anniversary of the May ‘68 events.
