Jérôme Alquié, guest of honor
Jérôme Alquié began his career as an artist in the 2000s, illustrating a number of DVD covers and merchandising for cult Japanese series. Since then, he has been the author of numerous official illustrations (posters, merchandising...) and artbooks related to these series: "Ulysse 31", "Jayce", "Inspecteur Gadget" are the most recent between 2017 and 2019. In parallel, in 2011 he began his career in Franco-Belgian comics, teaming up with scriptwriter Arnaud Dollen on the "Surnaturels" series (4 volumes to date, published by Delcourt). He also collaborated with Patrick Sobral ("Les Légendaires") on "Mythics", a series currently in progress. Then he met the director of Kana, for whom he drew the hero of his childhood: "Albator" in the series "Albator, Mémoires de l'Arcadia" (3 volumes). His latest project was released in October 2022 with volume 1 of "Saint Seiya Time Odyssey", published by Kana.
