From July 28th to August 11th - Salle Elie de Brignac

The musical August is an opportunity for young musicians to play, often for the first time in public, the masterpieces of music required for their musical evolution and initiation to the career.

Created in 2002, the Musical August is an opportunity for musicians and ensembles participating to the Easter Festival since 1997 to welcome their younger colleagues sharing their same passion for chamber music.

Through nine extremely different concerts, these young interpreters, the most renowned of the new European generation, offer a fascinating exploration of their musical universe, from Claudio Monteverdi to Olivier Messiaen.

Since 1997, the Salle Elie de Brignac - whose acoustics is great for concerts, recordings of the live Deauville collection of the B Records label, recordings of France Musique and France 3 - hosts an audacious and generous musical project. Renaud Capuçon, Jérôme Pernoo, Jérôme Ducros, Nicholas Angelich, Bertrand Chamayou, Jérémie Rhorer, David Kadouch, the Ebène quartet and many other artists have remained faithful to it.

All the concerts of this Musical August and those of the last Easter Festival will be stocked soon in the archives of the Easter and Summer Festivals and will be available for free at
