From July 29th to August 12th - Salle Elie de Brignac

Closely linked to the Easter Festival through its youngest musicians, the Musical August is an occasion to play, even for the first time in front of the public, some music masterpieces proving their music evolution and their career start.

As each summer since 2002, the Musical August of Deauville, joyful and studious antechamber of the Easter Festival, gathers, together with older musicians, about thirty young chamber musicians: the most promising musicians of their generation.
Occasion – and place: the Salle Élie de Brignac decorated with wood – is perfect to favour new encounters between young musicians and to test new works through any chamber music groups. The Label B Records switches on its microphones to record the sixth album of the "Deauville Live" collection in concert, with Ismaël Margain and Guillaume Bellom playing a two-piano duet.
The essentials of the charming music time of our two Festivals of Deauville are available on Music.Aquarelle in free streaming. The founders of our festivals – Renaud Capuçon, Jérôme Ducros, Nicholas Angelich, Jérôme Pernoo – and three generations of young musicians and ensembles, often discovered and trained in Deauville in the latest twenty years, friendly collaborate in a program of rare diversity and richness.
