The best international para-equestrian trainers meet in Normandy to participate to the only CPEDI contest held in France.

Organized by the Handi Equi Compet, the CPEDI*** of Deauville (International Para-Dressage Contest) is back to Normandy to celebrate the 10th edition.

For 3 days, the best French and international para-equestrian dressage riders meet at the Longines Deauville International Equestrian Complex to win the Coupe des Nations. A few months before the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, the Olympic athletes will be training for the CPEDI.

It features three competitions divided into five categories according to the disability level, ranging from Grade I (most severe disability) to Grade V (less severe disability): the Team Test (preliminary test) on Friday, the Individual Championship (imposed test) on Saturday and the Freestyle (with music) at the end of the competition.

Last year, the United Kingdom won the coveted title in the team competition for the 8th consecutive year! British rider Sophie Wells won the individual competition of the contest. 2020: is it the year of change?
