SAINT-ARNOULT - Pôle International du Cheval Longines - Deauville> May 28 to 30

The world elite of para-trainers is found in Normandy for the only CPEDI in France.

Due to Covid-19, CPEDI *** is canceled.

Organized by the Handi Equi Compet association, the CPEDI *** of Deauville (International Para-Equestrian Dressage Competition) returns to Normandy for its 10th edition!

For three days, the best French and international para-dressage riders take advantage of this meeting to face international competition and above all to captivate the public by the elegance of the movements of the horse-rider couple. The current world number 2 and 3 will be present, the Italian Sara Morganti in Grade I and the British Sophie Wells in Grade V, both regulars of the place and who monopolize the podiums of their events every year. The organization hopes to find the faithful of the competition like Rihards Snikus in Grade I, Laurentia Tan in Grade I, Sanne Voets in Grade IV or even Frank Hosmar in Grade V, all in the world top 10. The Nations Cup will be the object of much envy, the Netherlands and Belgium number 2 and 4 in the world by team being among the favorites. A few months before the Tokyo Paralympic Games, the CPEDI *** in Deauville will be one of the last rehearsals for the riders.

The Team-Test (preliminary round) and Individual Championship (compulsory round) will take place on May 28 and 29, at the end of which the Nations Cup classification will be determined. The last day will be devoted to the eagerly awaited Reprises Libre en Musique.

In 2019, Great Britain won the coveted title in the team event for the 8th time in a row! Also in individual, the country triumphed thanks to Sophie Wells, crowned best rider of the competition. Could 2021 be the year of change?
