1 week, 4 promotional actions, 4 countries
Group shows, eductours, workshops and roadshows... the inDeauville promotion team multiplied the prospection formats this week in order to make the destination's assets known and valued by French, Russian, Dutch and Brazilian travel influencers.
Visages du monde group show in France

The Visages du Monde network, which specializes in travel for groups of ten people or more, includes 32 travel agencies located in the west and southwest of France. Every year, it organizes a trade show for group managers (works councils, associations, clubs) from the Brittany, Normandy and Pays de la Loire regions, i.e. about 450 decision-makers.
To prepare for the 2019 show, which took place on March 28 in Laval, the inDeauville promotion team and the network's managers have co-created dedicated tour offers as presentation aids for the destination. The objective: to encourage decision-makers to book these same tours for their clients. Ten decision-makers were met during this day, representing a total of 960 people.
Visages du Monde in figures: 70 years of experience, more than 50,000 trips per year, more than 120 destinations, 70 leisure travel experts, 10 group travel experts, a service dedicated to professionals.
13 Russian travel agents from LCI-MTC Group on eductour
LCI-MTC Group is a major Russian tour operator, which has been growing steadily over the last twenty years, first on the Russian and Baltic markets, then worldwide. It has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and has representatives in France, Spain and Italy. In order to expand their catalog of destinations for their individual and high-end clientele, they regularly organize, in partnership with the Barrière Group, eductours on the territory inDeauville. Having come in 2015 and 2016, 13 travel agents from their Russian and Baltic offices visited Deauville again last Saturday. They were able to discover Deauville from the horse's point of view with a visit to the Deauville-La Touques racecourse and the Arqana horse sales room. The visit continued on foot in the city center, between tasting local products on the market and shopping, while admiring the architecture and the remarkable heritage of the city at every corner, to end on the famous promenade des Planches.

Creative France Workshop in the Netherlands

For the 3rd consecutive year, inDeauville participated on Tuesday, April 2 in "Creative France" in Amsterdam. This event invites French tourism professionals to come and present their new products in terms of accommodation, sports and cultural activities, tourism products, gastronomy... to Dutch travel influencers. Dutch tour operators, independent travel consultants, coach operators and MICE agencies (agencies specializing in the organization of private and professional events) know France quite well, even very well, but they are sometimes still too unaware of the richness and variety of the French offer. The networking workshop format, based on exchange and experience, allows France to stand out from the tour operators who are regularly solicited by global tourism professionals. The French destinations have the opportunity to come accompanied by a producer from their territory who could present his job, his products and his know-how. For this new edition, inDeauville is associated with Calvados Christian Drouin.
Normandy Roadshow in Brazil

Over the past two years, Brazilian travelers have been staying in Deauville more often, with an average of two nights per stay. In order to reinforce this attractiveness, inDeauville has joined forces with the Rouen, Le Havre-Etretat and Lisieux tourist offices and the Mère Poulard Group, in partnership with the Barrière Group, to carry out a Normandy promotional tour of the cities of Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Together, with the support of Christiane Chabes' agency, a representation company specialized in tourism in Brazil, they will meet local travel prescribers directly at their offices for personalized appointments. They also offer them training and web seminars on ideas for discovery tours combining the destinations they represent.
Brazil is the second largest tourist market in America to France since 2017 with 1.1 million tourists, behind the United States and ahead of Canada. The opening of new Air France flights to/from Fortaleza and Azul flights to/from Campinas, also demonstrate the increasing access between our two countries. The proximity of Paris, the diversity of activities, the quality of infrastructures and the gastronomy are regional assets sought after by Brazilians.
